Jen needs a Wishing Well😷💜🐾🐾🐾 Cat Herding Science Nerd 🔬 I highly recommend any clumping version of Ökocat litter. Its initial price is a bit more, but it lasts longer because it’s so highly effective. Much better for the environment than clay (it’s biodegradable!), plus works better than any litter we’ve ever used. True game-changer.

The Rafflesia family contains the world’s largest flowers, spanning up to a metre across. Here are some I have painted in oils over the last few years, inspired by my adventures in Southeast Asia alongside some inspirational foresters and conservation heroes.

#PlantID help! I have tried the Convolvulaceae, Bignoniaceae, Acanthaceae, and Nyctaginaceae in the Flora of Guatemala but I cannot get a match. It's a tendril-free climber growing in the understory of a humid mixed forest in central Guatemala at about 1,650 m altitude. Thanks!

When researchers from University of Melbourne + ANU Media scanned the tree canopy with lasers, they found birds much prefer the branches of big old trees. "The limbs and leaves that fall on the ground make excellent homes for many small creatures," they write. theconversation.com/large-old-tree…
