Being too coachable (and being afraid to say ‘no’) is a massive Achilles heel in many players’ careers.

It’s YOUR career.

Just because a coach says something doesn’t mean you have to blindly follow it.

Be respectful, but take ownership. Don't be afraid to ask 'why'.

I’ve had lots of fans compare the way I look to Randy Johnson, I tried to see if I could channel a little side arm action. Not quite 100 mph or 7’, but up to 92 just messing around with 3 pretty nasty offspeed pitches

14. Coaches didn’t try to “leave their stamp”👏

Ben has had mostly hands-off coaches that didn’t seek to change his mechanics much. His patterns emerged over time without any coach turning him into a robot.

This let him focus on competing, vs thinking about his mechanics.

My photoshop isn’t great, but I am excited to be joining the Cincinnati Reds org for the 2023 season. Thanks to ISE Baseball Mark Pieper and Tread Athletics for a great offseason and this opportunity to extend my career throwing baseballs

In the clubhouse, Tommy Eveld is known for relacing teammates' mitts and woodworking.

How he went from college football quarterback to slow-pitch softball and men's league baseball to the cusp of the major leagues.
