Pure consciousness is not anywhere near being a rarity. It's actually the most common thing within one's perceptual scope. What is less common is the experiential recognition of it, most due to the myriad misdirections of contemporary spiritual enlightenment ideologies.

Right now, what is aware of this moment?

Do you feel like an outsider to reality?

Any experience of separation from nonduality, occurs not just within, but *as* nonduality. And also, any ideas or talk of nonduality... can only be expressed in dualistic terms.

If internal sovereignty is realized, does external sovereignty become irrelevant?

The dualistic mind, by definition, can never become enlightened. Though it can easily convince itself it is.

I have to humbly disagree w/ this, based on my experiences. Two ways I've seen help w/ depression: 1) Prolonged physical movement in the world (think distance) and exercise. 2) Thinking of who in your life needs help & doing something real that helps them. (takes focus off self)
