Hey all- happy Friday 🤪 just had a great convo with Steven Kolber about the simulation technology at School of Education, UON in our ITE program, then straight into setting up for next week’s frivolity using the iCave with my partner in crime, Ray, an immersive learning space for our students!

Simulation technology, inclusive education and initial teacher education. Great episode of TER- I want to thank Steven Kolber for inviting me on to talk all things inclusive education and ITE. School of Education, UON University of Newcastle Suel podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/tea…

Today Dr.Angela Page and I were invited to attend the graduation ceremony of teachers aides in inclusive education, facilitated by School of Education, UON and the Ministry of Education, Samoa. Such a privilege to work with this team, and so proud of our students. #inclusion #teachereducation

Congratulations to Tess Rendoth for winning the University of Newcastle Teaching Excellence Award 2023. Tess excels in all aspects of her teaching - she inspires, motivates and influences current and past Teacher Education students who specialise in Special and Inclusive Education.

Check out the amazing creative work we do at School of Education, UON (and our school and community partners). Just one way we are embedding inclusion and diversity as core foundations in our teacher education program. Susan Ledger University of Newcastle #teachereducation #inclusion #pedtech
