The death or imminent death of a close loved one, such as a mother, sometimes cuases one to repress their emotions, this lack of emotional expression is made worse and compounded by isolation , and the lack of a personal social network to call on for help.

There are many artificial methods that can make one feel happy or blissful. The depths of depression can cause one to seek out these artificial methods of conjuring happiness. Then, it is hard to escape the tendrils and caprice of those methods leading one down a darker path.

I have experience repressing emotions and compartmentalizing them. The volunteer work I do nessitates that. You see many things that invaribly are trumatizing. That's certainly the case in some of the OSINT one shifts through. It's difficult to heal emotionally after that.

The political field is ever shifting, and one must adapt and formulate comprehensive plans to deal with this chaotic landscape. We must not only be reactionary, we must be pro active in our approaches in order to build a brighter future. This should be the way of our republic.
