Unfortunately, Charles delights in making the youngsters say 'ew'. "Would you like to know about the other old man things we used to get up to? Like Scrabble, smoking pipes, discussing geopolitical affairs. . ."

"Wh— I didn't shave him! I /drew pictures/ with a brush, y'know, like—." Charles demonstrates by pushing his own arm hair in one direction. "Like that! He's a hairy man, you can really create an entire scene by brushing his hair."

"Hey! Don't be unkind, it's not necessary." Because Charles has never once thought of Logan as being similar to a puppy. . . "There's nothing wrong with body hair. It serves an evolutionary purpose, actually."

"I'm. . . Fairly certain that Logan showers." Charles pauses. "Hank definitely showers more, yes, but Logan isn't a lost cause."

There's nothing gross about body hair! This feels unnecessarily mean to Logan.

Mhmm. 'I hate fun' would be both a quicker and more honest explanation.

Half of the X-Men look tremendously cool in the rain and the other half ( not naming names ) look like sad, wet cats. Charles knows which half he belongs to. He's currently squeezing water out of his very soggy jacket.

Today, one of his students said he was 'girly pop'. And then he assigned a small piece of reading for after class, and she said he was no longer girly pop. He doesn't know what any of it means, but he's fairly certain that learning could absolutely be 'girly pop'. . .
