Stephen Laughton 🎗️🇺🇦 Dr Adam Rutherford The first traces of what we might call "white" skin colouration can be traced back around 22000 years, occurring in Anatolia (modern day Turkey). The first modern humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) reached the British Isles around 35000 years. 7000 years before white people existed.

But it seems no single creative academic field or creative profession has made much progress in understanding how design can positively influence the chances of increasing social connection between colocated people who might like to interact.

This talk invites you to respond to a longstanding attempt to organise examples of potential social icebreaking designs from all kinds of design disciplines. We invite everyone interested to join us for an interactive session.
