Last night I gave out 3 CANDLES Eternal Light Awards to the 3 co-producers of “Eva A-7063” 1. Lloyd Wright dirct. of WFYI, 2. Ted Green-film coproducer & 3. Mika Brown-film coproducer. It reads “THE LIGHT OF ONE SINGLE CANDLE CAN ILLUMINATE THE DARKNESS OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE”!

Friday Foot Notes from Dr. Kor: In order to avoid overuse conditions of the foot (i.e. plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, neuroma), wear shoes that do not bend in the shank. When buying shoes, test the shoes to see if they bend in the shank. If they do, keep on looking!

On behalf of my 94 y/o father (Mickey Kor) and my late mother Eva Mozes Kor , I would like to offer my condolences to the entire family of Purdue’s Matt Painter and Purdue Men's Basketball . There are now two great women in heaven who will be cheering for the Boilers and saying "Boiler up!"

Congrats to Jessica Chapman, who just received a regional Emmy nomination for Community Service! Her impact on the Eva Mozes Kor project was most remarkable in the area Eva loved most: education. Generations of students nationwide will benefit from her work. Eva would be thrilled.
