We're making our iconic river transport in Brisbane even better, with Dockside ferry terminal in Kangaroo Point now open following a major upgrade.

As the first non-Labor councillor in Wynnum Manly in more than 70 years, I know Alex will be a breath of fresh air.

We're committed to standing up for Brisbane on youth crime and will roll out suburban safety cameras in crime hotspots across the city, in addition to mobile safety cameras for each ward that will be moved to different locations based on community and police feedback.

Brisbane is a city everyone should feel safe in but the statewide crime wave is taking its toll.

As part our plan to improve public transport across the city, we'll also introduce a new low-emission ferry between Bulimba and Teneriffe, and upgrade the heritage-listed Apollo Road terminal to encourage more people to leave their car at home.

We know this is a place people want to visit and we're going to boost public transport with CityCat services to the existing Howard Smith Wharves ferry terminal.

Our Howard Smith Wharves precinct is one of the most exciting lifestyle destinations in Brisbane and it's also a gateway to the Valley.
