What do you do when you need a cool rhyme for your intermediate Empower students? You write a rap, because it's gonna take more than the Cat in the Hat. 🎼🎶 🎼🎶 🎼

I would not be the nurturer today without first learning it from her. She taught me to read (an early pioneer of SOR - using spelling patterns) and now I teach others. Generational nurturing and teaching. Honored from afar, treasured forever, loved beyond measure.

Great for practicing those beginning, middle and end sounds by adding, deleting and substituting. The print lines help students with writing the letters. So many variations can be used including spin a letter and choose what will change for a nonsense version. #scienceofreading

Never underestimate simple goals. They might not fit the 'golden rule' of goal setting, but they sure provide a lovely framework for your daily work and routines.
