A SOR interactive word work idea>>Diamante Poems using target words. Start with an antonym pair for Line 1/7 Line 2/6 has 2 describing words for Line 1/7 respectively. Line 3/5 have 'ing' words that also describe lines 1 and 7. Line 4 has 2 nouns for lines 1 & 2 for line 7.

Great for practicing those beginning, middle and end sounds by adding, deleting and substituting. The print lines help students with writing the letters. So many variations can be used including spin a letter and choose what will change for a nonsense version. #scienceofreading
