So my 11-year-old, Clark, will "try-out" before getting drafted to a little league team. All kids get chosen. He's pretty good! Buuut, shouldn't he intentionally be as bad as possible at try-outs, get drafted later, and his team would be net better. Hmmmm. #gamedesign incentives

I really like "Combo" by Happy Camper games, except I don't understand the 4-player version. In a 3-player game you play 18 cards over the course of the game. In the 4-player, you only play 8. I feel like I'm doing something wrong -- that feels weird. Love it at 3, though!

I would 100% buy this. I've been looking for a good solution for displaying old trading card sets (Marvel Masterpieces, Impel Jim Lee, etc). My current solution is to exacto-knife and tape binder sheets inside of a thrifted frame. Not great.

Finally played #Agricola. This game has been wrapped on my shelf since like 2008. Before I had kids. Three moves ago. I bought it with store credit from mtg tournaments during Lorwyn block. And... it's great! Can't wait to play again.

Made the dicey decision to sign up for the #PhiladelphiaMarathon , which is on the Sunday morning of #Paxunplugged this year. I might be biting off more than I can chew, having only started running again 3 months ago. Here's hoping for no injuries during the 20-week training.

Woke up for Day2 of the #galacticchampionship to a tournament rules change. I get why they made the decision to change to open decklists halfway through the event, but I'm absolutely devastated. No chance I'd run this deck in open decklists. Crushed. At least I'm in Vegas.

Got to run a game of "Unmatched: Tales to Amaze" in the event space! I love seeing Mothman and the Loveland Frog, hometown jerks, causing chaos.
