Who is THAT peering through the trees?! We were extremely happy to spot a #sparrowhawk nest at #TCV #ThePaddock this year!! Our young chick has finally fledged, but you might still hear the hungry calls while walking around the paths. Fantastic shots by one of our staff members

Isn't this just the most stunning #beetle! The Rose Chaffer is a large beetle with a wonderful iridescent green colour. You might spot it flying around or relaxing on a leaf. #tcv #wildlife #entomology

What a lovely session at #ThePaddock yesterday!! 📷 We added lots more colour to the enclosure by painting some old fencing feet and planting them up with lavender and lemon balm cuttings. Volunteers also started on building some new planters and creating signage on site! #tcv

A massive thank you to volunteers at The Paddock today!! We started with a not so glamourous task of litter picking the picnic area - collecting around 5 bags of litter! Next we were into the old meadow start removing some of the brambles. #thepaddock #tcv #tcvharingey

Before, during and after! We have started doing some cutting and clearing of our new #meadow as it has become very dense with bristly ox tongue! We have done quite a high cut to start as there are some other species in the under storey which might yet #flower this year! #tcv
