Very nice. Neuroscience can benefit from a variety of topological-based analyses including TDA, recurrence quantification analysis, recurrence network analysis, and local topological recurrence analysis.

It would be really interesting to see the features that could be extracted from digitized (multidimensional) spiral drawings.
