It's been a great honour mentoring Ngozi Edum (peace_ngozi) during the #IUFRO2024 Congress. Mentoring is a two-way learning process, and our work continues w/ collaboration on a systematic review on the topic of "forests sustaining agriculture": link.springer.com/journal/10980/….

Very sad news of the passing of our dear friend & CIFOR-ICRAF colleague, Davison Gumbo. We worked together on forestry issues in Zambia for many years and I respected him greatly. A man of great warmth, humility, and decency. He will be sorely missed
