Can the GoXLR power my 250ohm headphones? The GoXLR has a headphone preamp and can power many high impedance headphones. Specifically, 250ohm above 90db. Basically, the GoXLR powers these headphones to the maximum recommended volume for safe listening.

Does my microphone need a Cloudlifter? The preamp in the GoXLR will power your microphone. So, you don't NEED a Cloudlifter. However, some people prefer the tone that they get by using a mic activator. Though, this group is in a small minority.

Notice a hiss in your headphones with GoXLR Mini? GoXLR Mini headphone amp output is boosted slightly compared to GoXLR. This provides good support for high impedance headphones, but it can introduce hiss with lower impedance. It can be reduced with an inline volume control.

Can I disable the Go XLR App from launching when I start my computer? The GoXLR App is designed to turn on when your computer does. While it's not a built-in feature, you can still disable the App from launching at Startup in Startup Tasks.

Why does my voice sound robotic? Often, this is a USB issue. A few quick troubleshooting steps you can take are: Ensure the USB is connected directly to the PC Use a USB 2.0 where possible Update USB Drivers and BIOS Try a different USB cable

How should I set my volume/gain? 1) Make sure you are peaking in the "Good" range 2) Set mic volume to 100% 3) Make sure you are peaking around -10 to -5db

Want to make sure you always have a cough button on your GoXLR? Set your “Bleep” to 0%. That will effectively create yourself a cough button!

Want to quickly jump between headphones and speakers, without changing your routing table or opening the GoXLR app? You can set your “Line Out” on a fader and use “Mute All” to turn your speakers on and off.
