I had a fruitful meeting with the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Nicholas Reese, discussing the valuable contributions of the Turkish community to the city’s rich multicultural fabric and shared success.

I met with Deputy Vice-Chancellor Michael Wesley of the University of Melbourne, Australia’s leading research institution, particularly in biomedical sciences. We discussed opportunities for collaboration between the University and Turkish counterparts.
