Thank you @dunster_matthew for the pint and for the chat! And thank you Bristol Old Vic for hosting. Felt brilliant being connected to other amazing people in the industry and airing our dreams frustrations and hopes for the future! 🤘
Watched sweet science of bruising @ Bristol School of Acting 2day. Fantastic acting by students, beautiful set and costume and gripping story about the delicate balance of sacrifice in pursuit of self actualisation and equality!
Just watched Child of Science by @dunster_matthew @ Bristol Old Vic. A story nt about a genius or a martyr, but rather the sticky and complex web of dizzying contingencies that lead human progress. Loved how science was honoured whilst leaving space for the magic of conception!
That’s why at RAM theatre festival I’ve dedicated two slots to young rural and w/class artists to develop a new show with mentorship from me and Kate Pasco :D
Saw #Elsinore by Bristol School of Acting’s Theatre Making students dir by @TBrennanBristol last night. Masterclass and innovation on the term: Make Shakespeare relevant. Playful chaotic energy that was bursting with life and made me think about the Elsinore’ in my mind that shaped me. GO SEE!
