H.E. Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, received H.E. Ambassador El Zain Ibrahim Hussein, Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Sudan to Ethiopia. The two sides discussed current regional situations as well as Ethiopia's positive efforts to bring about peace in Sudan.

I received this morning Hakan Fidan Hakan Fidan Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. Our discussions centered on continued bilateral ties between our two countries.

It was a pleasure to welcome Tom Perriello, US Special Envoy to the Sudan and exchanged views on current issues in The Sudan. I underlined the necessity of aligning efforts to bring peace and the need to secure ceasefire during the current farming season.

I join PM Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹 in condemning the despicable and henious terrorist attack perpetrated by Al Shabab in Lido Beach in Mogadishu. Our deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and brotherly people of Somalia.

H.E. Ambassador Taye met with US Under Secretary, Uzra Zeya and discussed bilateral issues, human rights,security, and development. Also exchanged views on regional matters including Sudan and Somalia. H.E. Zeya noted the importance of Ethiopia's recent macroeconomic measures.

I welcomed the new Ambassador of #China to #Ethiopia Amb.Chen Hai. We discussed the significance of our All-Weather Strategic Partnership in elevating the bilateral ties of our countries and underscored the importance of FOCAC for our common development based on shared interests.
