ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn Umar Al-Fārūq رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ was asked about true repentance. He replied: “It is that you repent from the sin and never do it again, or NEVER INTEND TO DO IT AGAIN.” ✍️📚: Tafsir at-Tabari 66:8
