CISD is seeking support for a Tax Rate Election. The proposed 3-cent increase to the tax rate will enable CISD to access additional funding from the state to continue meeting the goals set forth in our Strategic Plan, which was developed through extensive community input.

TRE Facts ☑️ CISD is asking voters to consider a 3-cent increase in the upcoming Tax Rate Election. Even with this proposed increase, the tax rate remains the lowest it has been in more than a decade. View the graphic below for a breakdown of the district’s tax rate history.
