The trip into & ultimately to the top of the Mesa that is Mesa Verde National Park is a twisting, steady climb to 7000 feet. The trip is 20 ml/30km in length & took us one hour. If you're driving a 30 ft RV a good set of white knuckles will be useful. Enjoy this quick trip.

I posted this relic of the past on Instagram and it has attracted more interest than any previous image I have ever posted! Before it disappeared from the Tasmanian landscape, this one could be found along the Ellendale Road in Fentonbury, Derwent Valley

With the cloud gone, it is easy to see all the snow that fell on Ben Lomond in northeastern #Tasmania over the weekend. With temperatures on a warming trend over the next few days, sadly, the snow probably won't last. satview.bom.gov.au
