Despite everything, #16August was a success: 1. It exposed this Rhodesian fascist regime for what it is; 2. It proved the masses are PEACEFUL—not even 1 act of violence by protestors; 3. It showed the masses are DETERMINED—thousands came out despite the courts & police brutality.

Not one car has been burnt, not one shop looted & yet innocent people, including women, sitting down, weaponless, have been brutally assaulted by Police in Harare today. Its happened because the international community hasnt held the Mnangagwa regime to account & it feels immune.
