There's some new info on the upcoming hardcore wipe rules. What do you guys think about it? Personally, I'm a bit puzzled regarding the "reduced loot" aspect. #EscapefromTarkov

The last "beta" wipe begins today. Good luck everyone! As usual, I'll do my best to provide some new tips tailored to the upcoming hardcore mode, as the changes will pretty sure change the way we approach loot/gear/and raid dynamics. #EscapefromTarkov

I'm actually a big fan of this change. To me, the first weeks of last wipes felt all the same. Especially since there is no real "freedom" in how/what quests to do early on.

Sorry, but the combination of "no quests" and "no map choice" is flawed. On the one hand, having no quests fosters exploration and creating own adventures. But there are no adventures when you don't have a decent map pool to start with. #EscapefromTarkov

The hardcore mode has altered surgical kit mechanics: both kits have reduced uses, but can be placed in your special slots so that you won't lose them on death. #EscapefromTarkov

As of today, a few traders can be progressed to LL 2, opening up some viable container options, decent heal, and more ammo/mods. #tarkov

Impressions of the hardcore wipe so far?

Especially for players with older hardware, a smaller FoV can result in a few more FPS. My personal sweet spot for aiming vs. peripheral vision is around 63-65. #EscapefromTarkov
