On #IWD2023 it was a pleasure to join Mark McGowan and Sue Ellery for the announcement of a $3 million program for TAFE scholarships to attract more women into trades. There’s never been a better time as a female to choose a trade and enter the #constructionindustry in WA.

Those “long-neglected” WA laws will assist in further disincentivising much needed infill housing. One size fits all policy that guarantees a growing Council cash balance and little else.

Brilliant news for Australia. We now have the leadership we need at a State and Federal level to house our community. Congratulations Julie Collins Anthony Albanese. With John Carey Perth this is a legacy West Australians will benefit from for generations.

A great outcome that highlights the value of a planning approval pathway that considers the benefits to the State over other pathways that would prefer to focus on the reasons why children shouldn’t see the sunset in their most difficult of days.
