At every twist and turn the political landscape at #BCP Council, just like the weather, gets murkier and murkier ⛅

Here's something that most or all of those #BCP Councillors who are so concerned about #Poole and its #Heritage probably won't tell you about let alone promote it.

Such a shame that a local Councillor elected to serve both the Council's and her Constituents best interests doesn't do her homework before promoting such things on her FB Social Media profile page. #FactsMatter

This post and thread(s) ⬇️ is why despite calls from a few councillors and a large number of residents the investigation into both Future Places & Carters Quay should have been held by an independent third party and not internally as is now the case.

Some facts certain #BCP Councillors should read & digest. "Council bosses said the enforcement had made it #safer for #children outside the #school gates & cut #congestion & #pollution." & "generated £950,000 from penalties between July 2023 and May 2025." bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

It's things like this that happen across the #BCP conurbation that Councilors should be posting on their SM accounts rather than the politically driven posts they normally post - #CommunityEngagement matters more than mere political rhetoric to the majority of residents.

Interesting post from #Bournemouth #Police over on FB which I think is good advice for any SM posts - Fact Check them before making a knee jerk decision to share them. A lesson a certain local #BCP Councillor would do well to take onboard.

May I politely suggest that instead of those who celebrate their misguided patriotism by painting roads with Union Jacks, St George's Crosses etc.. they would be far better served by celebrating it with some musical appreciation. bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…
