On October 7th, Health Sciences Department Chair Dr. Jean Sparks and Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing Education Dr. Amy McClure shared expertise at the Women in Healthcare organization meeting.

Anna Haga, Assistant Clinical Professor in the CONHS represented the college as part of the winning faculty/staff team in the Islander Top Chef Competition held at TAMU-CC. They will advance to the final round this spring to compete against the winning student team for the title.

Students are sharpening their clinical skills in the sim lab under the guidance of Assistant Clinical Professors Rosario Garcia, Lisa Snell, Gloria Bernal, and Dr. Colleen Eaves. This hands-on simulation experience is their final prep before heading into clinical rotations.
