An ex newspaper journalist, I've swapped my notebook & pen for a canvas & paintbrush. In between art, I'm kickboxing, walking my rescue pups or drinking fizz.

This year's Christmas Market Pittville Pump Room is just a week away. I will have originals, prints, greeting cards & artist merch. And my Pittville Pump Room prints of course. Did you know The Cheltenham Trust owns the original painting? Nov 23 & Nov 24, 11am-6pm. 🌲🎅😊👍❄️

Grab a copy of the December issue of Cotswold Life, turn to page 31 & you will find my snowy original painting Burrows Field. How appropriate in light of the recent flurries in Cheltenham. ❄️🥶🐕🖌🎨 Many thanks indeed for featuring me! 🙏😊 🩵

We're in the Business Lounge Pure Offices in Quedgeley until 2pm. It's a cute little Christmas Market. And I'm next to the excellent John from The Boutique Distillery and his excellent gin and rum! What could possibly go wrong! 🤣🍸

Another new commission. Family Outing was created from a fab ref photo. With the client's approval, I introduced a light source to bring out the colours & increase the contrast. 'He really loves it! Thanks so much, it's amazing!'

Well, that is a first for me... My print of Quench found a home last week and the new owner was inspired to write a poem about it! Wow! ❤️ I love that my painting had such a deep and positive meaning for him. Perfect 👌 Find him on TikTok @daron.d3

While it was blowing a hoolie outside, I was busy painting some calm water. A Weekend in Wales is acrylic on a 29.5 x 42cm stretched canvas. Inspired by a cool ref photo belonging to a dear friend taken on a trip to Wales. This is Llynnau Mymbyr viewpoint, near Capel Curig.

So this is Seen Better Days. Yep it's rotting fruit. Don't ask me why, have no idea! 🤣 But then again, what is beauty anyway? There's some nice colours and textures on decomposing fruit. So why not? Acrylic on a 20cm x 25cm canvas panel.

Last painting to leave Tamsin Stuart Art HQ this year was Burrows Field. Created in 2020 with oil, acrylic & cold wax, this original was spotted in the Dec issue of Cotswold Life & bought as a Christmas present for a friend. Big thanks to Candia McKormack 🏳️‍⚧️ for kindly featuring it.

These eyes follow you around the room. My giraffe is coming along nicely, however, painting duties are now paused as will be too busy celebrating the New Year later. Over and out for 2024. HNY all! 🌟

Before I started my new painting I didn't know my lovely great niece had a thing about giraffes. Loves them.🦒 So I thought it would be nice if she got to name my giraffe. So here is Gigi. She is acrylic on a 30cm x 100cm stretched canvas. Art to put a smile on your face. 😁
