With the order of President Masoud Pezeshkian, Ali Larijani has been appointed as the new head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

In a decree, Iran's Supreme Leader appointed Ali Shamkhani, his Political Advisor and former SNSC Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian as his representatives to the Supreme Defense Council. This is Shamkhani's grand return to politics.

Iran will have a Navy's missile exercise under the name of 'Unflinching Power' to begin from tomorrow on. A wide range of pinpoint cruise missiles with short, long, & medium ranges are to be used in this exercise, said the exercise spokesman.

E3 launched a 30-day process to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran over its nuclear programme on Thursday, Reuters reported.

Iran MFA announced in a statement that this decision by E3 will severely undermine the ongoing process of interaction & cooperation between Iran & IAEA. "This provocative & unnecessary escalation will be met with appropriate responses," the statement says.
