A couple of years ago the Rangers called Miller one of the best defensemen in hockey. Now that he is getting traded, he just plain sucks 🙄😂

While I’m not really opposed to $7.5M to a player who brings what Miller does, that’s more than Slavin, and what will it mean for Nikishin’s eventual extension? Gotta build from the back out, though. Big money, but you’re getting a seamless fit who’s entering his prime years.

The Hurricanes started with an expiring Martin Nečas contract, went through the Mikko Rantanen saga, and have emerged from it with Logan Stankoven, K’Andre Miller and Nikolaj Ehlers for the next 6+ years. Netted a 1st round pick in the process too. Absolute wizardry from Tulsky.

My Carolina take is if this dude is still the 2C come playoff time I will not believe in them. If they upgrade, I may pick them to win the cup. I like the Ehlers signing and Miller is a risk that is justifiable.

I’m hearing a lot of rumors surrounding McTavish being dealt. I know the Hurricanes fan in me would love him. But I actually think there could be a trade that will benefit both teams. Blake for McTavish. Obviously there needs to be more but that is the principle. #raiseup #canes
