An international research team from Japan, Poland, and Denmark led by Youhei Takeda uncovered TADF properties of D-A-D type phenazaborines. They found adding fluoride ions significantly red-shifts OLED emission. This marks Youhei's first publication in JPCC! go.acs.org/b3c

Concept article on the design of red-shifting of triarylborane-based emitters has just come out from ChemPhysChem! If you are interested in modulating photophysical properties of TABs, just check it. A collaborative work with Prof. Yamagishi and Yamamoto (Univ. Tsukuba) has been published on Communications Chemistry! "A van der Waals porous crystal featuring conformational flexibility and permanent porosity for ultrafast water" go.nature.com/4i6E16Z

JST-ASPIRE「次世代のためのASPIRE」に採択されました!新分野での国際共同研究への挑戦、今から楽しみです! JST ASPIRE

Our proposal has been approved by JST ASPIRE ! We are looking forward to upcoming new international collaborations!

I and Go Watanabe | 渡辺 豪 have visited Zac Hudson group UBC Chemistry for discussion on collaboration as part of #JST #ASPIRE program! This week was such a fruitful week for not only discussion but also expanding network! I am coming back again to UBC soon!

I've met many people for the first time during CSJ nenkai. Often this has felt quite formal (exchanging business cards, 🙇). So meeting Fujihara-sensei Fujihara_Tetsu and Takeda-sensei Youhei Takeda after they led a science event for families will live long in the memory. Great stuff!

Excited to share our new ChemRxiv preprint on dual-state photophysical modulation via bifurcated hydrogen bonding! Congrats to Kimiya! Collaboration with Prof. Yoichi Kobayashi Yoichi Kobayashi and Piotr de Silva. doi.org/10.26434/chemr… #luminescence #HydrogenBond #ChargeTransfer
