The Zandalari using Dinosaurs armed with titan magic lasers is such a cool concept and I wish it came up more in BFA

(yes i like the lizardmen in Warhammer....how can you tell?)

My quest to level a hunter of every playable race in wow countinues and Ma'kai shall take the Zandalari spot

idk how i slept on this but my zandalari paladin looks amazing as a plunderlord

Zul’drak is actually a decent zone

But what it misses IMO is a sympathetic lense into the Drakkari, like we have in the Hinterlands with the Revantusk.

The zone would have hit better with loa worshipping Drakkari loyalists instead of “the Zandalari are here just watching”

I hope the DS heritage quest rams home the fact the Darkspear are the main tribe left with Shadow Hunters, the tribe being the most devout and 'true followers of the Loa'

Its another point of difference the DS have that they need for ingame difference from the Zandalari

I rather liked having Vol'jin help joining the Sin'dorei and Quel'dorei to help deal with the Amani and Zandalari threat. Really helped show how Vol'jin made for a good leader for both sides.

Downside we didn't get Amani allies with that too. But notes for Midnight.

I mean ultimately you see why very quickly...its using Voljin as a springboard to platform how great Talanji is....

And I DO think shes great, but man....this came at the complete expense of giving one of the darkspears ONLY characters to the Zandalari

So before you had Vol'jin's ashes and his glaive, both in his home with his people.....and now the glaive is a symbol for the Zandalari....and his ashes are in the Necropolis (or players' bank)

Its all emblematic of my issues with BFA and how dirty it did the Darkspear.

Rokhan playing lackey to Talanji the entire xpac, - takes the one independent, spiritually pure and 'right' tribe, and makes them the Zandalari side kicks. the opposite of Voljins dream for trolls

This is gonna look so good on my Zandalari for his 'Old God Shadra Graal' set

Because, and I like BFA, but the Zandalari are an empire built off the back of a racial superiority complex and a caste system (which BFA weirdly didn’t criticise)

And I don’t think rewarding that “you know what? You ARE the special trolls!!” Is a good narrative choice actually

And Tyra having hunted trolls in the past, tells Voljin his technique

Netios I understand people have grievances with BfA but that is just a straight up lie. BfA, while not perfect, did give the Horde some chunky bits of story.

That was why I actually liked BfA because it gave us the Saurfang and Zandalari Arcs.
