🇯🇲 Exciting news! The #WFPCaribbean Country Director Brian Bogart has officially presented his credentials in Jamaica, marking a continued commitment by World Food Programme to strengthening partnerships and supporting food security in the region.

#HurricaneBeryl made landfall in Grenada on Monday, causing extensive damage across Carriacou & Petite Martinique. #WFPCaribbean deployed an advanced team to Grenada ahead of the storm’s arrival & is ready to support CDEMA & the government of Grenada in the recovery process.

As #WFPCaribbean & CDEMA aim to boost #disasterpreparedness regionally, a simulation workshop was held in St. Vincent which provided practical, scenario-based training for key stakeholders, & other disaster management sub-committees ahead of the 2024 hurricane season.
