Science Fact 23

Some jellyfish are immortal. When the Turritopsis dohrnii, the immortal jellyfish dies, it sinks to the ocean floor and begins to decay. Amazingly, its cells then reaggregate, not into a new medusa, but into polyps, and from these polyps emerge new jellyfish.

if you didn't now my favourite stage of the jellyfish life cycle/reproduction is the immature jellyfish, this is beacuse the jellyfish 'Turritopsis Dohrnii' goes back to being a polyp in that stage and also beacuse they're so small. little swimmi guys. its truly amazing. 🌊
