Talking Tech Virgins site has a small image key to show which films have closed captions or audio descriptions for their inflight movies flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/inflight…
Talking Tech Jennissary British Airways I'm unable to open this page at the moment due to high site traffic(?) but I hope they may list some accessibility features on this specific page britishairways.com/content/inform…
Jennissary Very interesting I would hope some shows and films have audio description. I’m flying with @Britishairways would be great to hear if someone has experienced the inflight entertainment with them. #audioDescription
Talking Tech Every airline has a different system, but I've yet to come across any US domestic flight which offers Audio Description. That said, many will also have an app that works for free on the plane wifi, and might be more accessible.
Talking Tech Jennissary British Airways I have had audio description on a flight, but it was years ago and I had to have assistance to select the film I wanted IIRC.
Would suggest downloading films from your preferred streaming service of choice just in case prior to flying.
Hope things have changed.
SightlessKombat, #Accessibility Jennissary British Airways Thank you And definitely will have plenty downloaded. It would just be good to get the full experience when flying
Rikki Poynter Talking Tech Last time I was on a flight with Canada Airlines it seemed to have a decent amount of CC stuff. I forgot to bring wired headphones so I was watching movies with CCs.
Rikki Poynter Talking Tech Though I have some audio processing issues, so I prefer CCs even if I have headphones, but yeah in his case it was the only way I could watch a film as a hearing person.
