Thirty one women lost to violence in Australia in 2024, so far. I hate saying so far the inevitability of more. Eleven women killed in this month and it’s only April. At this point I’m lost for words. 😞

So one of the things I learned yesterday at the rally in Orange was that the refuge for women and children is entirely funded by #birdsinthebush fundraising. No government funding in a regional area with a massive DV issue. #shematters
