The letters are available in written digital story & audio versions shared to help medical nursing & health care students learn from Seth's & my experience of pancreatic cancer palliative & end of life care as relevant now as they were when they were written in 2014 #sethslegacy
Next we hear from Bradley & his wife Claire Brad was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer given 3 months to live 18 months later & many acute admissions & close death experiences Brad shares his story of gratitude hope & resilience through a series of films #sethslegacy
These three aims have driven the work of #sethslegacy over the last ten years and were decided by me as I sat beside Seth's bed listening to his breath get shallower and fade I promised him I would do something and 10 years we have #sethslegacy
Today we have a fabulous line of speakers at #sethslegacy conference we hear from lived experience partners Brad & Steve so important to hear from people affected by pancreatic cancer two different stories with different outcomes with valuable learning about person centred care
Whats the future of Seth’s Story and Educational Resources and #sethslegacy watch this space for the Seth Goodburn Foundation a charity that will share experiences of care through creativity to support health and social care education
