Sapperton is a beautiful stretch of the Fraser River here in New West, BC. My heart is ready for a change, and my soul craves a new locale. I feel restless as fuck. 🙃

Came across this stunning Spiny Puffball in the woods at Sapperton (Gloucestershire). First time I’ve ever seen one 😳I wondered what on earth it was at first - thought it might squeak or run off if I touched it! 😂

In case you were wondering, our neighbourhood has gone FULL OUT again this year. These are some of the biggest lanterns on earth. You can see our neighbourhood from space.

Literal astronauts look down at Sapperton every year and think, oh yah it's LNY time.

Rain or shine, canvassed the area in to talk to residents about the new program. The feedback at the doorstep was fantastic! Later, we had a productive debrief over lunch at Greens and Beans Deli.

I love the view I get taking the Skytrain through my neighbourhood in Sapperton. The Fraser River is a beaut.

Took Chubs for an impromptu stroll down to the Fraser River shore here in Sapperton. I’m so pleased that his glucose and insulin are again regulated and he’s back to his peppy self (he has diabetes). We loved it! 🥹🖤

This morning we had a visit from the lovely local author Dinah Mason Eagers. She read her beautiful books 'At the bottom of Dudley's garden' and 'On top of Dudley's pond'. The children loved the stories and had lots of interesting questions for Dinah.

This pm I did the fields in the Sapperton area. Bags of potential in an underwatched area, unsurprisingly no lingering Pallid Harrier. 5+ Corn Buntings, 12+ Skylarks, 2 Garden Warblers, m Stonechat, 1 Whitethroat, 5 Buzzards, m Kestrel, m Yellowhammer & Silver Y moth

Before and After getting a voicemail that I GOT THE APARTMENT! 😂🖤 It’s a TINY studio in New West here in BC, but in a brand new home’s basement suite. Beautiful deep tub, awesome landlord, in the historical brewery district of Sapperton by the skytrain and Fraser River. 😀

The Jacobean bench-ends at St. Kenelm's in Sapperton, Gloucestershire were originally from the banqueting hall of Sapperton Manor House which was demolished in the C18th.
