Remembering fallen soldier Cpl David Brian Brown, 37. Killed 28th May 1986 his search dog Oliver
David Brian Brown was an AES dog handler with the 3rd Battalion The Ulster Defence Regiment. He & Oliver were killed by a terrorist explosive device during a search operation

Poor young TPD Saka not the best way to enjoy his birthday after having a retained testicle removed yesterday.

Mary handed over TPD Blake today to Mike and Kim (who puppy walked TPD Saka) and they will take him on the next stage of his journey. Mary has looked after him since he arrived as a very poorly young pup. Mary looks after the young pups and has done a great job with TPD Blake👏

We are proud of our Met Police Taskforce dog & handler teams who competed at the National police dog trials

The most enthusiastic team award went PD Buster and PC Uncle who said she hopes this award inspires others to compete in the future.

TPD Bruce has been seen by an orthopaedic specialist and it has been confirmed that he will need a replacement hip in 3 months time. We have a new home lined up for him and once again our force has shown their commitment to animal welfare to fund the operation.

We hope TPD Saka feels better soon. Belated birthday celebrations we think!

Pd Max is a new boy on the team🐾Earlier this month, Max and his handler had their first track following a pursuit and decamp. Max led his handler on a long wet and muddy track, eventually locating 2 men that were arrested on suspicion of offences including Theft of Motor Vehicle

Retired PD Billy sadly passed away yesterday. After serving 8 years removing countless amounts of drugs, cash and firearms from the streets of London before he went on to enjoy 4 years of happy retirement. Thank you for your service, Billy 🐾
