The CM Northbound is set to remain closed into next week following the large fire at a disused building in the city centre.

The fire has severely impacted the structural integrity of the building and so it remains unsafe to re-open at present.

Six males have been charged with murder following the death of Gordon Gault.

On November 9 last year, we received a report of an assault in the #Elswick area of #Newcastle .

Gordon, 14, had sustained serious injuries & sadly he died six days later in hospital. (1/3)
