tjgolding Phil Lord Dr Dylan Adams Most definitely in my opinion. It is about fully living in the moment. Like children do. I have often thought we can lose that as adults. #NetworkEdCymru

Dr Dylan Adams Also I think it’s hard to give learners opportunities to develop spirituality if you are disconnected from self, others and the world. Our busy lifestyles, lack of time snd space are big barriers. #NetworkEdCymru

Dr Dylan Adams Lack of awareness as to what spiritual development is. I’ve delivered a few sessions on spiritual development for the EAS. Once practitioners understand ‘how’ you give learners opportunities for it they will see they already do lots of those things. #NetworkEdCymru

Dr Dylan Adams Phil Lord In my view spiritual development is very human. In fact the top of Maslow’s pyramid is transcendence or spiritual development/spirituality. It is what makes us fully human - not that I think it is developed in a linear way necessarily. #NetworkEdCymru

Phil Lord Dr Dylan Adams For some spiritual development is absolutely in the ordinary though. If you think of the practice of mindfulness where you, bring yourself back to the moment no matter how mundane it is, to connect with drinking tea, washing hands, sitting, walking, breathing. #NetworkEdCymru

Dave Stacey Dr Dylan Adams The definition of spiritual needs to be inclusive of religious or non-religious worldviews. David Hay argued that spiritual development is biological. I love that he uses the term “relational consciousness” to describe it. #NetworkEdCymru

Dr Dylan Adams @networkEDcymru I wrote my Masters dissertation on the spiritual development. The #CurriculumforWales provides loads of opportunities for Spiritual Development. The consultation on the RVE guidance is out and there is a section in there on it. It should be defined clearly first. #NetworkEdcymru

Mathew Pullen 🌈 @catkucia Gareth Evans @networkEDcymru James Mannion Rachel Macfarlane which is great, perhaps a useful element of PL is to share what we’ve all learned and how we are translating these ideas into practice? Kind of comes back to Dave Stacey earlier point #networkEDcymru

@catkucia Gareth Evans @networkEDcymru who could/should the collaborations be with? And what should the collaboration be focused upon? Creating learning opportunities and exploring ideas? #networkEDcymru

David Aldous 🌏 (@dcraldous) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Gareth Evans @networkEDcymru A very meaty question....as well as understanding what PL means in practice, should we be asking what type of learning is wanted or needed? Is it learning that is passive/fixed or learning that will encourage growth/transformation? #networkEdcymru

Mrs Lindsey Watkins Do SLT have time to be research engaged at the moment and in less dramatic times? Should research be built into NPQSL / NPQH or similar and into job descriptions (or is it for headship?) #networkedcymru

Gareth Evans tjgolding Recovery. A return to routine and structure that gives a feeling of security and normality. Learning, play, friendships, school dinners, cartons of milk, laughing, crying and running round using your coat as wings. All of it! #NetworkEdCymru #networkedchat
