Michael Guerrero Usually if you can do it easily in substance painter its best to do it that way.
Though for portfolio pieces it looks a lot better to do all details on the highpoly even though that might take a lot of extra time.

Michael Guerrero I really think, this comes down to the Art style in question, since you can get away with baking all the planned detail from the highpoly sculpt, but it will in certain areas limit the non destructivity of the process.

Any of y'all have a good alternative to QuadDraw while staying in maya? The tool is so slow I have to delete history very couple of strokes. And yes I know about caching the highpoly but it's only a temp fix
