One of the pleasures of WoolWeek is the knitwear spotting.

Many people turn up to wool week wearing their own work - the most beautiful handknits, often Fair Isle style.

A perfect example here worn by a visitor to our studio yesterday.

I had a fabulous day out in with my elder daughter.
We visited a a knitting/clothing exhibition and then we had a long leisurely lunch at The Ivy with cocktails.
Many of the handknits & crochet garments were from my youth (1960s Biba/Mary Quant era).
