This result is very important to understand cancer mechanism related to Neu5Gc. We recently found that Neu5Gc glycans abundantly in goat milk glycoproteins. It's consumption may not be a problem for people, however; we still need to prove this output! More research is required.

2/3 Work by Ben Schulz, Cassandra Pegg , Kyle Macauslane and team demonstrated by mass spec that Langya F carries fewer glycans in comparison to NiV. An interesting observation also made for MojV G proteins.

Interestingly, ➡️ Omicron does not contain more oligomannose-type glycans compared to Delta but does contain more compared to the WT and other VOCs.

O-glycosylation at the RBD showed lower occupancy in the VOCs in comparison to the WT.
