Walking across the campus Eanes Elementary today when I met Meadow and Ava, two 3rd-grade classmates who both skinned their knees during recess and were helping each other get to and from the nurse's office. I commended them for being so kind. That's what friends are for Eanes ISD😊

Enjoyed a conversation with Ron Huynh while he was waiting to begin his aftershool bus route WRMS Wildcats. Ron has faithfully and safely driven our students to and from school Eanes ISD since 2011. His contagious smile and dependability represent all our wonderful drivers.

Terrific job by Ahnushka Srinivasa, 6th grader WRMS Wildcats, who led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge prior to our Board of Trustees meeting Eanes ISD Tuesday evening. Vice President Kim McMath thanked Ahnushka and Executive Assistant Patty Gray took the photo.

I visited Mr. Montgomery's English 2 Honors class today Westlake High School. The chairs arranged in small groups indicate the level of deep discussion occuring among the students. Very impressed with these very smart sophomores and their very dedicated teacher. Only the best Eanes ISD

Friday Barton Creek ES I learned about 1st-grade Camp Watermelon, a traditional end-of-year week of fun activities and tie-dyed garb begun years ago by GT Teacher Michelle Garner. Even got my own hat to wear around Eanes ISD, but it doesn't look as good on me as it does on them.😊🍉

Always fun when retired friends stop by to visit. Looks like life after Westlake High School is treating Vito and Officer Peals very well. Even with our new police department and great new officers, their former service Eanes ISD is not forgotten.
