“It’s also not a singular aesthetic, but a collection of styles that you’re likely to see at your local independent bookstore.”

Long live bookcore!

Jason Diamond Finally watched Crossing Delancey last night. Irving is great, Riegert is PERFECT, effortlessly charming, but the bubbe steals the movie. Stylewise, so much bookcore and a touch of bistro vibes. It's like Hannah and Her Sisters without the baggage.

Lately, I've been noticing that everyone cool dresses like an elderly person who attends all the lectures at their local independent bookstore. I've been calling this style 'bookcore.'

@Count_Meowcula @LinManuelRwanda Malign Creativity same story here. grandad on my mum's side was a baker's apprentice who finished school at 14. His life passion was reading though and he built an impressive bookcore worthy library. to this day I still borrow books from him.
