Productive morning picking up litter in Rangeworthy #BigSpringClean

*Proper conservation techniques were used, and no milk related objects were harmed in the making of this post.

Another of our #BigSpringClean events yesterday. 122kg of litter lifted from Ballygally, Drains bay, Sandy Bay and Brownsbay beaches, followed by a cookout and cake at Browns Bay.

Many thanks to the Year 5 pupils and teachers at St Andrews Major Primary School who spent the afternoon collecting 9 bags of litter from The Common and Carpark. They did a fantastic job to improve our environment for our community and wildlife. #keepwalestidy#BigSpringClean

Thanks to all who attended the Big Spring Clean yesterday. A small, but beautifully formed group, cleared 8 bags of rubbish, mostly from along the Link Path towards Tynemouth Station.

A friend & her sighted guide informed us that the tactile pavement on a couple of the crossing leading to the shops & doctors in our village where covered in leaves etc & couldn’t be felt with cane or underfoot. So I went out & cleared them. #lovewhereyoulive #BigSpringClean
