In summary it's been a tricky campaign for 3 reasons 1) The quality was much better than many expected, which 2) Led to many Chateaux releasing at the same or higher than last year, combined with 3) poor timing of releases has meant a struggle to sell many, a real shame #bdx21

Moment of truth for the campaign: Ch Calon Segur releases 5% up on last year (at £492/6), & yet is better than 2020, is now the cheapest great vintage available, arguably as good as their St Estephe neighbours, & 1/3 to 1/2 their price. It was also a great wine #bdx21 #WillItSell
