I love this micropub in Allestree, Derby. The Creaky floorboard. A real ale and cider pub, nice Victorian building, friendly staff. Highly recommended. I’ve surveyed it for google street view so you can have a look around it.

We were out talking to residents on Windmill Hill Lane and Ashbourne Rd today. The lack of an Ashbourne Rd bus was a common theme. The Tories haven’t funded an Ashbourne Rd bus to replace the 9, but they’ve laid on free buses in Allestree and Spondon. Strange that!

On Thursday August 10th The Rams Heritage Trust will be putting on a display of Derby County memorabilia at The Woodlands Pub Allestree, 12-5. There will be items from all eras.
