Had a trip over to Bute today and walked part of the West Island Way. While there, I saw these 3 oystercatchers all posing on a rock, although 2 turned their heads when I got my phone out ๐Ÿ™„

Volunteers keep the Ettrick Bay Memorial Garden looking itโ€™s best
Itโ€™s early days for the trees planted in the new garden but the grass certainly grows quickly. Conservation Trust volunteers have been cutting and strimming to keep the garden looking good for locals and visitors.

New wire mesh on the Loch Fad Bird Hide walkway. It was time to renew the netting on the walkway into the Loch Fad Hide. Itโ€™s done well given that itโ€™s often been submerged when the Fadโ€™s water level is high. Many thanks to the Mount Stuart Ranger Service for helping us today.
