Non of which I expect a big fall off. Another 9 win team which should. Be pretty good too. Wsu and ua should be better but probably aren't unbeatable. 4 bottom teams 3 of which have a new HC.

Tailoredfitness Dalton Dechaine On3 Pete Nakos The athlete demand in money may be worth making a generic game every few years and not paying players and then mods just fill in the rest.

Jake Thompson On3 Pete Nakos Your math is off. Number of division one teams = 133. scholarship limit is 105. 133x105 +(players in portal) rounds to 14,000 players. Times by 500 is 7million. On a game that last time grossed around 60 million. The players will never see more than 500-1000.

They will go 0-6 against the top half.

That's a good season. The most likely is 2-2 or 3-1 on the bottom teams and 1-1 on the middle teams.

Tailoredfitness Dalton Dechaine On3 Pete Nakos This just doesn't make sense. First of all the ncaa football games never sold 500 million in profit. The highest selling game was 07 with roughly 150million in gross profit.

As a software company they aren't going to exclude the development and manufacturing cost either.

Tailoredfitness Dalton Dechaine On3 Pete Nakos If those costs are low say 20-30 million. That puts revenue on the highest selling game at ~130m. So at best 5.3k per athlete. But... The last ncaa game only sold ~60million. If you took that number into consideration it'd be 2.8k per athlete.

Tailoredfitness Dalton Dechaine On3 Pete Nakos At a certain point ea is going to want a return on investment. Why spend 20m to develop a ncaa football game if they only get 10-20m in profit. It's a lot of time/money for no profit and they can do other things.
